So much more than simply playing outside

I’m Melanie Marshall and my practice is Forest Tribe Friends which started as a childminding practice in Chalfont St Giles with a focus on Forest School in 2018 and it’s evolved where I now also provide stay n play toddler groups, holidays clubs, parties and go in to schools to share Forest School and its ethos with as many children as possible.
All my sessions whether a stay n play, a party or through their school, I aim for all children to experience the great outdoors, exploring local woodlands learning about the natural environment in their area, being physically challenged taking risks with scrambling and climbing, getting mucky playing in mud, building dens, bug hunting, learning to use tools safely and cooking on open fires.
Forest School is an amazing experience for children and so much more than simply playing outside!
