Forest Tribe Friends is my childminding practice in Chalfont St Giles with a focus on Forest School. Children in my care will experience the great outdoors, exploring local woodlands, being physically challenged with scrambling and climbing, getting mucky playing in mud, building dens, bug hunting, using tools and cooking on open fires.
As a childminder with an outdoor focus, my home has two purpose built cabins in my garden, where the children can enjoy resources and age appropriate toys in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage, covering all areas of Primary school aged children’s development.
We’ll also visit my allotment just up the road from my house, where the children will help grow and learn about a range of flowers, fruits and vegetables.
